EasierSBC

Set it up once, and it keeps itself current: every time you close Chrome the build is refreshed, so the new one is already there the next time you open it.

1. Install

Ask for the installer.

  1. Press the button and run the downloaded easiersbc-setup.cmd. It fetches the current build into a folder in your own profile and sets it to refresh itself whenever you close Chrome. No administrator rights, nothing outside your profile.
  2. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
  3. Press Load unpacked and choose the folder the installer printed: %LOCALAPPDATA%\EasierSBC\extension.

That is the whole install. A new build is fetched as soon as you close Chrome and is in place before you next open it — there is nothing to download again. Nothing is replaced while Chrome is running, which is both safer and the only moment an update could take effect anyway.

Chrome will say it is a developer-mode extension, and it is: a folder it loads from. That is not a warning about this extension, it is Chrome telling you the truth about how it got there.

Why not a proper install that updates itself?

Because Chrome refuses. The only way an extension outside the Web Store installs itself is the ExtensionInstallForcelist policy, and on a browser Chrome does not consider enterprise managed it marks the entry [BLOCKED] and says so on chrome://policy: “This computer is not detected as enterprise managed so policy can only automatically install extensions hosted on the Chrome Webstore.” Measured, not assumed — the policy was written correctly, the build was reachable, and Chrome installed nothing.

The policy installer is still here for a machine that is managed: easiersbc-install.cmd, with an uninstaller beside it. On an ordinary machine it will write the policy, and Chrome will ignore it.

Or take the zip and unpack it yourself — the setup file above only saves you doing that again on every release.

Not working, and not obvious why? Run the check — it reads this machine, changes nothing, and writes easiersbc-diagnostics.txt to your Desktop. Send that file and the answer is in it. The script it runs is published in plain text.

2. Your key

Paste the key you were sent.

Checked on your own machine — nothing here is uploaded, and the key is not sent to any server. Once it takes, open the FC web app and the EasierSBC button is there.

What it does on your account

It runs only on the FC Ultimate Team web app. It never reads or stores your login, and it never sells, discards, buys or bids. Opening packs you already own is the one thing it does that cannot be undone, and only for a count you typed in yourself.
